Bishop Vincke was ordained to the priesthood on June 12, 1999, at St. Mary Cathedral in Lansing, MI. He served in many capacities for the Diocese working especially with youth and seminarians and served several years as the Director of Seminarians and Vocation Director.   He was appointed Spiritual Director at the Pontifical North American College in Rome from 2010 to 2015, and while there completed the requirements for the S.T.L. (License in Sacred Theology). In 2012, he was named a Monsignor by Pope Benedict XVI. He was ordained the 12th Bishop of Salina, Kansas on August 22, 2018.
