About the Artists

Drapikowski Studio has been designing, creating, and restoring sacred art since 1984. Founded by Mariusz Drapikowski and now joined by his son Kamil, the studio specializes in unique religious sculptures, monuments, and interiors for churches and private clients.

Drapikowski Studio has created the altars of adoration for the Stars in the Crown of Our Lady, Queen of Peace sacred sites established throughout the world by Comunità Regina della Pace.
Other notable examples of their extraordinary work include the amber and diamond gown for the Our Lady of Częstochowa Icon, and large-format silver works like the 129-square-foot altarpiece for the Archbishops of Krakow chapel and life-size figures of Saint Paul the Hermit and Saint Casimir Jagiellon for the Jasna Góra Altar.

Mariusz Drapikowski is a distinguished graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, mentored by Professor A. Szadkowski. Deeply inspired by the teachings and personal encounters with Pope John Paul II, his work is rooted in Catholic tradition and sacred art.

Through Drapikowski Studio, he has created notable works such as the amber icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa for Pope Benedict XVI and Cardinal Joachim Meissner, and pastorals for Cardinals Tarcisio Bertone and

Józef Glemp.
Mariusz has received numerous honors for

his contributions to sacred art, including the BUNZ Award (2006), Pro Ecclesia et Populo distinction (2008), and Amber Jeweler of the Year (1999). He has also been awarded, among others, the Gold Medal “Primatiali Nomismate Aureo”, the Commander's Cross of the Order of St. Stanisław, and the Prince Mściwoj II Medal for his impact on Polish culture and art.

Kamil Drapikowski is a sculptor and graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. His art bridges the ancient and the modern, using traditional sculpting techniques to express metaphysical themes through contemporary forms.

Kamil has created multiple silver works including sculptures for the Our Lady of Częstochowa Altar, an altarpiece for the chapel of the Archbishops of Krakow, and a sculpture of St. Michael the Archangel on Monte Sant' Angelo in Gargano.
Kamil has completed many monumental works in Poland including Saint Faustina

Kowalska, Stefan Cardinal Wyszyński, and Saint Michael the Archangel. In 2010, he created a marble monument to Saint Faustina Kowalska to Stockbridge, Massachusetts in the United States. He also recreated a silver robe for the painting of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Stoczek, Klasztorny that is more than six feet tall. Kamil is a recipient of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Award.
